Conquering the Mountains
Introduction:
Conquer speaks of control and mountain speaks of area.
We have a lot of areas in our lives that are still not in control.
How did Caleb conquer the mountainous land promised to him?
1st Point:
Caleb drive out first his enemies.
His promised land has a lot of enemies.

He fought for 45 years before he got the land.

What are our present and dominating enemies?
- Temper – uncontrolled anger
- Lust – a strong desire in bad sense.- II Timothy 2:22
- Selfishness
- Gluttony
- Sensual desire
- Pride
- Unforgiving Spirit
- Compromising to our belief.

2nd Point:
Caleb stand firmed for what God promised.
The promise

The fulfillment of God’s promise.

After 45 yrs, he still believe and claim it.

3rd Point:
Caleb wholly followed God.

Despite of other spies has a negative attitude.

From the start Caleb have an obedient attitude.
Caleb has a positive attitude.

Conclusion:
We need to be positive always in conquering our mountainous land.
