Introduction:
The United States Secret Service was founded in 1865. Their mission:To deal with counterfeiters in an attempt to protect the dollar. 1902 when their mission was change.
From protecting the dollars to protecting the President of the USA.

Biblical Example:
Thessalonians believers

1st Point:
They turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God.
Abandoning the worship of idols to embrace  relationship with the true and living God.

2nd Point:
Christians today have modern idols

Idol – anything that hindered us in worshiping and serving God.

Biblical Examples:
- Work
- Pleasures
- Family
- Boyfriend and
   Girlfriend
 - Studies
- Worldliness
- Business
 - Gadgets
Conclusion:
If you are going in the wrong  direction let Christ transform you and let Him control your life.
